We are a Local Tax Resolution and Tax Preparation firm based in Boise Idaho that specializes in helping individuals and businesses file taxes and resolve tax problems with the IRS. We help our clients understand their rights and represent them in front of the IRS and state. We deal Audits/Examinations; Offer in Compromise, Installment Agreements, Error Corrections, IRS Tax Appeals, Tax Court (less than 50K) or any tax issue any state. We also remove liens and levies by addressing the underlying causes. So don’t let the threatening letters pile up and ruin your sleep.

Who is Ilir Nina, CPA, EA & MSAT

Ilir Nina, the owner, is a seasoned CPA and Enrolled Agent with extensive expertise. (For detailed info visit what is an enrolled agent.) Additionally, he earned a Master’s of Science degree in Accountancy and Taxation from Boise State in 2009 complementing his two undergraduate degrees in accountancy and information systems. With over 25 years of tax preparation experience in the Boise area and a strong background in tax resolution, Ilir Nina has become a trusted figure in the field.

Throughout his career, Ilir has adeptly handled a multitude of individual, business, and nonprofit tax returns. His proficiency extends to representing numerous clients successfully in dealings with the IRS. Ilir has demonstrated a high level of skill in filing successful offers in compromise, enabling clients to settle their IRS liabilities for significantly less, often mere pennies on the dollar. Aries is a skilled and versatile team member who excels in bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing and overall management. He has several years of experience in our organization and a strong knowledge of all key areas of business. Aries is pursuing an accounting degree, inspired by his father’s legacy and his desire to make a difference in the accounting field. He is passionate about customer service, management practices, and production methods that improve our client services. Leon Maynard-EA,Tax Accountant

Leon brings over 8 years of experience as an IRS Certified Enrolled Agent to his role as a tax accountant at Idaho Tax and Bookkeeping Services LLC. With a solid foundation in tax preparation and resolution, Leon has built a reputation as a seasoned professional in the field.

Beginning his journey in finance on Wall Street at Chase Manhattan Bank, Leon gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of the industry. He further honed his expertise in San Francisco, catering to the needs of technology companies in Silicon Valley and at H&R Block.

Throughout his career, Leon has remained dedicated to excellence, leveraging his diverse background to navigate various financial landscapes adeptly. In addition to his corporate ventures, he has contributed to academia, teaching international finance and economics at Boise State University. His role as President of the Idaho Council for Economic Education reflects his commitment to fostering financial literacy within the community.

Vikki Cain – Bookkeeping Specialist

Vikki’s is our Bookkeeping Specialist.  Her experience is broad, having spent eight years in hospitality management for Red Lion Hotels and five years in medical billing; including working for Blue Cross of Idaho.  She spent 10 years working for Shopko in their Price Accuracy Department. Vikki volunteers with Special Olympics as a coach for bowling, track and field and skiing.  She also volunteers for the State of Idaho Department of Welfare as an intake host for children being placed into foster care.

Michelle Kurta – Payroll Specialist

Michelle is the Payroll Specialist for ITBS. She processes multi-state payroll and tax reporting.

Prior to ITBS, she worked in financial services specifically the credit union industry for over 15 years. Her experience ranges from customer service, lending and collections, HR, and overall management.  In 2013 she was commended by the State of Idaho Department of Finance for getting the credit union through the recession by decreasing expenses, increasing revenue, and mitigating losses.

Her core values are trust and integrity and firmly believes in the concept of people helping people.  Both personally and professionally.

Timothy Dunlop – EA Tax Accountant

Tim is a seasoned tax accountant and an enrolled agent with extensive experience in the field. Currently with Idaho Tax and Bookkeeping, and formerly with H&R Block, Tim has built a solid reputation for his deep knowledge of tax rules and regulations, ensuring his clients receive accurate and efficient tax services.

In addition to his tax expertise, Tim has a background in real estate, which broadens his understanding of business and financial matters. This diverse experience allows him to provide comprehensive advice and solutions to a wide range of clients.

Randi Gomez – Bookkeeper

As the Bookkeeper at ITBS, she brings a wealth of experience from my background in the medical insurance industry. Over the course of 7 years with Ameriben IEC group, I served in diverse roles including customer service, claims processing, and configuration analysis. Following this, I spent 9 months at Digestive Health Clinic, specializing in medical insurance billing. Driven by a career goal in accounting, I made the decision to return to school at CWI. My objective is to acquire a certificate in tax accounting, with aspirations to progress further and become an Enrolled Agent (EA). This journey reflects my commitment to professional growth
and expertise in the field of accounting.

Heidi Williamson- Administrative Assistant / Secretary

Heidi is our front desk assistant/secretary, representing our firm with a friendly smile. She has a lot of experience in management and sales, which is very useful for our work. She is calm and gentle, and always tries to meet our clients’ expectations. She communicates clearly and efficiently and handles client requests with speed and accuracy. Heidi also contributes to our sales performance, and her careful and attentive customer service makes her a great member of our team.

Kailen McCraken- Admin Assistant & Bookkeeping

Kailen is an asset to our team. She performs various administrative, collection and bookkeeping duties with skill and precision. She has experience as a front desk clerk in the car dealership and hotel industry. She is proficient at collecting payments and managing accounts. She is an essential part of my team. She is pursuing entrepreneurship management at BSU and she brings fresh and modern insights for bookkeeping from her academic background. She has proven her value and expertise in our office.
